Swimsmart Standish

My son loves swimming, having already been to swim survival lessons I thought the next step was to actually go to swimming lessons. Three lessons into swimsmart I rang to cancel our membership. On my sons third lesson the teacher took all the joy away from him loving swimming. She shouted continuously throughout the lesson at him, told him she was very cross with him and therefore pulled him out of the water to sit on the side. My son is 4. He didn’t speak one word in the changing room or on the drive home that evening. Having lost £32 cancelling I can honestly say I would rather lose money than for my son to continue there and for him to lose his love of swimming. I understand people teach children in different ways. Continually being negative towards them and shaming them is no the way. My concerns were raised.
